She was also commended highly by BBO, receiving a scholarship offer for Jazz. At age 8, she began competing in multiple genres, ultimately taking her passion to nationals where she competed in Jazz and Hip-Hop troupes. Jemma has performed in numerous shows, throughout her dancing career, including the Australian Classical Youth Ballet Company’s ‘Snow White and the Nutcracker’ performance.

Her teaching experience ranges drastically between ages and genres, having taught children as young as 2 years old right through to adults, in qualified genres. The Darwin community has become her focus over the past 4 years, and it is her utmost desire to see, through the growth of each student and artist, the community thrive.

Miss Jemma is focused on creating a fun-loving, healthy, inspiring environment for all students to feel safe and united as a family. Her goal is to help you reach your full potential and to help guide your dancing journey, wherever it may take you.

  • Chelsie Lewis began ballet at the age of 7 and quickly found a love for the arts, training under Carol Hall learning the Cecchetti ballet syllabus. She trained with Pelican Productions and Stirling youth dance theatre, competing and performing into her early teens.Eventually, she was exposed to musical theatre, contemporary, jazz and acrobatics, finding her true passion as an acrobatics teacher. Chelsie now works pridefully to create a unique opportunity for student growth in her carefully structured classes, helping all her students to reach their full potential. We cannot WAIT to see what Miss Chelsie has in store for 2023!

  • Miss Shaq found her love for dance through Calisthenics when you commence at Top End Calisthenics when she was just 4 years old and to this day she is still actively involved in Calisthenics as coach in both Team and Solo sections.

Fun Fact – Miss Shaq has had the privilege to compete in the NT Nationals Team two years running!

Her teaching experience ranges between ages and is always up for a challenge.

As much as Miss Shaq enjoys all the things that come with dance from the costumes to the bright lights, she enjoys spending her down time camping and out on the race track.

I guess you can say she has the best of both worlds

  • Miss Christina began her dance journey in Melbourne with Kendara Calisthenics Club where she quickly found her love and passion for the sport and has been in actively involved for almost 20 years.

To this day she remain an active competitor as well as a coach in both Solo and Team sections.

She also has a background in gymnastics where she competed in a State Squad also in Melbourne and is eager to get back into the acrobatic side of things. Miss Christina loves to pass on her passion to those she teaches and always has a positive attitude – as she says, “I can’t, does not exist, It is I’m yet to achieve”. Which encourages students to continue working hard as they know anything is achievable if they put their mind to it and don’t give up.
