Term 2 - Welcome Back
Good Afternoon Parents and Dancers of Studio 27,
Welcome to Term 2! We have hit the ground running with classes, new friends and a new dance teacher to welcome to the family!
Please welcome Miss Shania! Shania has relocated to Darwin all the way from Adelaide, South Australia. She will be teaching our Hip Hop in Heels class and Open Hip Hop on a Wednesday night. Miss Shania had planned to be in LA this year training with the Millennium Dance Complex to further her career as a dancer, however due to COVID we have been lucky enough to land her here in Darwin! Please give her a warm welcome and introduce yourself if you see her floating around the studio.
A huge thank you to everyone for joining us again in Term 2, we have a lot of exciting upcoming events to look forward too. There are a range of competitions coming to Darwin this year, which our performance teams are working very hard towards! We will be commencing our concert preparation very shortly, and we can FINALLY announce the theme of the show! We are so excited to get things moving and see what we can do! Stay tuned!
Term 2 Important Dates
Colour Frenzy 2021
Sunday 30th May 8.30am - Bicentennial Park, Esplanade, Darwin City
All students and families of Studio 27 are invited to walk with us in the Colour Frenzy to help raise money for Animal Rescues!
What better way to spend your Sunday than starting your day with some of your favourite people and getting painted like a rainbow?
I would love if we could all get together, bring your siblings, bring your DOGS and bring some colour into this world.
We are creating tops for the day so we can represent our studio and look like a family! If you would like to participate simply purchase a WHITE t-shirt and bring $5 into the studio and give it to one of the teachers. We will organise for the logo to be printed onto the top.
Sports Vouchers
We are accepting sports vouchers! If you have not yet submitted your voucher to us, please send it through to us ASAP so your voucher can be part of the next round submitted. Thank you to those who have already done this.
Term 2 Fees
Term 2 dance fees are now due, may we please ask that you ensure you are enrolled in the correct classes and that accounts are finalised by the end of week 5 – Sunday 23rd May. To pay your invoice, simply head over to the Dance Studio Pro and log into your account. If you have forgotten your login details or need any assistance, please email me and I will happily assist.
